We began photographing weddings in 1975 and have photographed over 1,200 weddings since throughout the Central Ohio area, with a maximum of 52 weddings a year.  We photograph only one wedding on any given day in order to ensure excellence and provide personal, professional service in capturing your special day.

     With over 25 years of experience, we realize that weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime event, that they cannot be "done over", and we must do everything photographically right the first time.  Together with you, we want everything to be of the finest quality, to proceed perfectly and smoothly, and we strive to perform professionally and unobtrusively so as not to detract from the religious ceremony or the romantic parts of your wedding day.  Most of all, we want you to enjoy your wedding day!  We know it is important for you to have a photographer who wants everyone to have fun rather than one that will constantly interrupt the flow of your day and demand your attention.  Besides, photographs turn out better when you're having fun!

     We will meet with you prior to the wedding to review planning, locations, starting times, who should be there prior to the ceremony, and to plan the creation of your wedding photographs to tell the story of your wedding day.  We use medium format equipment with back-up camera bodies, lenses and flashes.  We bring three camera bodies, ten different focal length lenses, and six flashes to each wedding.

     Our photographic style includes a mixture of traditional portraits and groups, romantic photographs, and candid and fun photographs.  The traditional portraits and group photographs are taken before and immediately following the ceremony.  These are typically done on a formal canvas background, outside or up at the altar.  The romantic photographs of the bride and groom are done after the ceremony.  Every photograph during the ceremony and reception is taken in a documentary, candid style of photography--nothing is posed and it is very photojournalistic.
